Finding safety online is no easy task. Some would say that it is impossible.
Lurking in the dark recesses of the networked world are many dangers. You are no fool. You know this. But your natural reactions might be dangerous ones: to shut yourself into a bunker that you've made as impenetrable as possible. Predators love cornered prey. Or maybe you aren't so smart. Maybe you hope they'll go after a sicker, weaker member of the herd before you. Predators love prey that count on luck.
Arm yourself with the right knowledge, but don't count on knowledge alone to protect yourself and your assets from the predators that stalk the internet. You need an experienced experienced hunter who can help you track the threats against you quickly, quietly and efficiently. You don't have the luxury to trust "grey hat" guides: whatever bargain you might strike with them, hasn't their past already proven you can't trust their agreements?
